Hi All!
What succeed if I write:
----------------------------------------------------
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
----------------------------------------------------
but in the assembler portion of ejb-jar.xml do NOT specify anything?
I've seen that the bean compile and run correctlly but... what about
the transactions in methods? The bean's methods run in a transaction?
Thanks in advance.

When you specified the transaction type as Container, the container will be responsible to handle the transactions for the beans.

Thus, you did not have to do anything special for transactions.

Hi,
if you have not specified the transaction attribute in the <assembly-descriptor> part of the ejb-jar.xml most of the container will assign their default transaction attribute. eg weblogic defaults to supports.

For more information search the form and you will get the answers.
