Is this book authored only on SCBCD exam perspective or does it provide a overall picture of EJB and the related stuff?
Although the primary goal of the SCBCD Exam Study Kit is to help you pass the exam, it does not assume any prior experience with EJB. So, the topics are covered in a very cohesive way: a section builds on previous sections, and a chapter on previous chapters in a logical flow. There is no hopping from topic to topic. The concepts are defined and explained as the reader encounters them. So, my attempt has been to present a self contained body of knowledge presented with a logical flow, and not just an exam cram.
It starts with an introduction to J2EE, and an overview of EJB, and then goes through topics in a logical learning sequence, yet keeping the focus on the exam objectives. So it does show you the big picture of EJB and how the pieces covered by the exam fit together into the big picture.
Hope it helps.
Thanks for the question, Sridevi.
