java bean vs enterprise java bean

java bean is used for writing business logic .
and we have used getter and setter method .

but in ejb there is little bit different story.
in broad terms , we can say we are providing business logic
and services to enterprise in term of components
ejb container can run ejb

anyone please tell difference between java bean and ejb

Hi,
There's a very subtle diff b/w the two.
Regular javabeans dont have the services of EJB Container(transaction management, security, persistence etc) because they dont run under the control of EJB Container as opposed to Enterprise JavaBeans.
Then another difference is tht while u use Regular javabean mostly at development time, Enterprise bean kicks in at runtime.

I hope the difference is clear.
