Hi,

WORA means Write once Run Anywhere and WODA means Write once Deploy Anywhere.WODA comes with component based development. We can develop the component and can deploy it in any J2EE Server(which supports the specific version of EJB) by means of deploy time customisations.(container-specific xml files).Simply we need to change the xml files and there wont be any change in our code.
This is possible irrespective of JVM's/Application Servers.

WORA is specific to JAVA,which you know very well.

Hope this helps
