The ejb spec says that the container is responsible to support JAXP1.1 api. What does it actually means? Does it mean that the container is shipped with a xml parser like dom4j which is the implementation for JAXP1.1?? If That's true? How can i use the xml parser?? any help / links?

regards,
Sajid

It means that a number of XML APIs need to be supported, like DOM Level 0, SAX and the javax.xml.parsers package (maybe others as well - I'm not sure if javax.xml.transform was in JAXP 1.1). To do that it would have to include an XML parser.

You can find a few links on JAXP on the XML FAQ page.
