Hi,

How do we define "identification variables" used in a where clause?
What is a single_valued_path_expression?

Thanks,
Shirley

An identification variable is an identifier declared in the FROM clause. Although the SELECT and WHERE clauses can reference identification variables, they cannot declare them. All identification variables must be declared in the FROM clause. or for more about the syntax and single_valued_path_expression click here to find out brief answer..
