Hi,

One EJB is running in localhost, and client for that EJB is also running in same machine. And Im not using complex cast by using PortableRemoteObject to get Home stub.but it is still working.
EJB will run under containers JVM and client will run under different JVM(as im using "java Client") ,How can it possible without using complex cast.

RaghuNath.

This will work fine.

This is an RMI(Socket call) call to that EJB, this might not come always from only RMI, it can also come through IIOP. so it is always advisable to cast with PortableRemoteObject.
