Well, it might be time for us to start thinking about updating HF EJB

I'm curious to get some feedback from you guys about what you think the best / most important / most popular new features in EJB 3 are? Don't take too much time, a quick "Top 5 List" with quick reasons why would be great!

Thanks,

Bert

hi Bert,

I like the Java Persistence API best: because I can use it outside an ejb-container.

I also do have a question: will the new HFEJB book come out before there's a new SCBCD-exam?

groeten,
Herman

Hi Guys,

I want to clarify that we really haven't yet decided whether we will update HF EJB. We're looking into it, and when we decide, we'll let you know, but I really wasn't kidding in that earlier thread.

hth,

Bert

I would love to see the HF EJB book updated for the new SCBCD exam. I am gonna wait for the new SCBCD exam. Bert, I hope Kathy and yourself will cover the new stuff that will be on the exam in your update. The head first series makes learning this stuff fun and I can get certified at the same time. All your books have helped me greatly.

I would rather see an update for the new exam than an update on features that might not be on the exam. My 2c

Good luck with the update if you are planning to do it.

How big would the book get, just talking about Java Persistence API ?
