We're doing some new banner promotions for companies that have never run banners on JavaRanch before so companies might get the idea that banners work at JavaRanch. Maybe they'll someday slip us a few bucks.
If you see a banner you haven't seen here before, I hope you click on it.
Also, if you see a banner and you think the company is icky, let me know. I'm thinking that banners are a good idea only if the companies offer something relative to our community.

I was sort of tired of seeing the "Feed the cows" banner. Go ahead with the new banners, we'll do a test run!

Oreilly conference, no can't go. But ofcourse, I could search Oreilly website for good articles.
I was shocked to see "geekcruises.com" banner But then went ahead and clicked the banner to see how much does it cost to take me to the island "Java".
Surpise, surprise, guess what I found, maybe I could convice my boss to pay for Oreily conference
