Hi,
can any body tell me, how much is the worth of scbcd 5 beta as compare to scbcd 5 (to be released later) ...

do we need to also appear for scbcd 5 (full version)exam, later, if pass this beta exam, or scbcd beta is equalent worth to its full version,

i think less fess is charged for person for full version exam who has already passed the beta exam ? is i am right ?

apart from that please give your comments on my original subject i.e "scbcd beta is equalent worth to its full version"

Thanks

scbcd 5(official exam) will be only subset of beta as for as the number of questions, duration and the questions itself is concerned. In fact the beta seems to have all the questions that will exist in the db from which official version will pick the 70 odd questions.(some seem to be dropped depending up psychometric analysis). So,if you tell you are cleared beta it will be more value(comparatively).

If you pass you need not reappear.read the message posted by evelyn in a different thread.

If you want you can reappear any number of times.

and as for as the fees is concerned they will have update exam so if you are already scbcd 1.3 certified then normally the upgrade will be 100 $.I don't know how it will be if you are already scbcd 5.0 and you want to reappear for 5.0.

by the way have been able to register in dilli.

They are equally worth.

No, we don't need to appear for the full version. Once you pass the beta exam, you will receive the exact certificate like the full version.

If you want to take the full version in case you fail the beta exam, you will have to pay fully for the full version. But if you already have SCBCD 1.3 and want to upgrade to SCBCD 5, there will be an upgrade exam for SCBCD 5 with less fee.

I hope I've replied what you want to know.

As a beta tester, you officially test the test and will be able to provide Sun with valuable comments and technical feedback about the Sun Certified Business Component Developer questions. The Sun beta exam counts towards official SCBCD Certification!

from
SUN WebSite

Doesnt that mean you have to again do SCBCD5.0 in some form in order to get complete certification??

Thanks

Candidates MUST already be a Sun Certified Programmer (any edition) in order to receive your certification kit if you pass the beta exam.

No you need not.it means it is considered equivalent to official cert.
