All,

Some of you are asking how many questions and time limit, there will be approximately 180 questoins and I have given candidates 4-5 hours to complete.

Also, if you are having problems registering for the FREE SCBCD 5.0 beta exam.

Please ask for the SCBCD 5.0 beta (#311-091).

Please call them directly. The website is not up.

BETA EXAM REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Unlike other SUN Microsystems certification exams, this exam does NOT require a voucher. To register for the "Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5.0" Beta exam, you may register by phone, by calling your regional Prometric registration office, listed at: http://www.prometric.com/Sun/default.htm

Hi Evelyn,
Thanks for your effort. I have been trying to register for
the exam but my problem is that am in Lagos Nigeria and my
country is not list either on Sun site or prometric site.
Called Sun office in the Uk, i was referred to the prometric
site. Also called the prometric office but was told I needed
a voucher from Sun before I can be registered for the exams.
Please will really appreciate your assistance.

Can we expect an upgrade exam for scbcd 5 , for the people who are already certified in scbcd 1.3?.

I believe there will be an upgrade exam for SCBCD 1.3 holder, but there will be NO beta for the upgrade exam.

Either they are not aware of it or some other reasons.Take a printout of the details of the exam from sun site.Take your your prometric id.These are the only details required for registering.Ask them to register the detials by giving the exam code(311-091) mentioned in Evelyn's posting.Check back the threads for trying out alternate ways of registering.Either prometric website/email of prometric.

How does the SCBCD5.0 Beta exam count towards the real offical SCBCD5.0 ?when will the real offical SCBCD5.0 exam ready?
