Hi All,

I am new to EJBs, just started. I am stuck on one question :
What is true about Stateless session beans :
1. They are concurrent
2. initiated by client
3. destroyed after the request

Thanks in advance for the help !

They are concurrent

One bean will service one client at a time. Several beans can be servicing their own separate clients.

initiated by client

Once the client calls a business method the bean is pulled out of the pool and asked to service the client. So i guess that would be true.

destroyed after the request

It goes back into the pool. So I wouldnt use the word destroyed.

Stateless bean is initiated (created, initialized) by the server.

And stateless bean can not been removed by client too. It is removed by server too.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
