One curiousity.....why cert manager does not reflect any thing about SCBCD beta test....Cert manager does not have any record of SCBCD beta test taken.... it will be shown only when we clear it

It is because the exam result is not yet released.

If it releases, no matter you fail or not, the record will be there.

Also, the result will only show you have taken 310-091 (Offical exam code) instead of showing that it is a beta test.

In cert manager, it just shows whether passed or failed.. It does not show the % of marks scored for regular exams... Will it be same for scbcd beta also ?

We get to know whether passed or failed but we wont know % score ??

You will receive paper marks sheet with %% via snail mail.

BTW, the pass score for the SCBCD 5.0 test is 59% - not too high.

Well, if the site is right and they're accepting registrations for folks to take the SCBCD 3.0 starting Monday, then I imagine that we'll find out before then.

I hope that it's lagging, but will there be an upgrade exam available? Man, I hope so!

Yes, this is for sure.

If you check the certification progress in I7 database, you can see the following in the certified requirement of 310-091:

(310-092) Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the
Java Platform, Enterprise Edition 5, Upgrade Exam.
