A quick search on Amazon shows that books for SCBCD 5 book still are rare despite the certification now seems to have got a final GO http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-091.xml ... Anyone who knows anything about available or coming books? Please! : ) Preparing for SCBCD 1.3 doesnt taste that interesting any longer.

As Bert said previously, HFEJB 5.0 is not even planned to release, but I believe some publishers will release their books, but it may take some more time.

Preparing for SCBCD 1.3 doesnt taste that interesting any longer.

Why? EJB 2.0 and EJB 3.0 is actually totally different things, and are not interchangable. Thus, it is still useful to get EJB 2.0 certified.
