All,

Thank you for taking the time to sit during the SCBCD 5 beta exam. We had a great turn out.

As for the results, your pass/fail grades will be posted in I7 on 02/14, and will be mailed out by 02/19. US candidates please expect your postal mailed scores in 10 days. International candidates, please allow 30 days to receive your score report.

You should receive your postal mailed score report:

In the US: by March 2nd
Outside the US: by March 23rd

Evelyn, sorry to post it here. But do you know why I bought SCBCD 5 exam at 200 USD while the Prometric Testing center marks the test as 150 USD? I am not sure if I could the refund.

Anyone besides me amused that the scores are coming out on Valentine's Day? (I mean, okay, I love my certification exams, obviously, but not quite how I wanted to start that day out. )

Here's hoping.

Only physical copy of the report will be sent via snapmail.

Please read the message carefully. You should goto Sun's I7 certification database, not the prometric one.

The event will be recorded, in a back-day manner, after the result is offically announced in I7 database for all beta exams.

I too passed. I am thankfull to the ranchers involved with this exam for helping and providing valuable information.

As far as i am concerned i had only 3 days to prepare. So i can say that the suggestions provided by ranchers were really helpful. I also had past experience of previous versions of EJB.

Last but not the least i thank Sun for giving me a chance to take the test.

BUT evertbody can celebrate the Valentine. Nice timing by Sun???

I used only the Specifications for the preparation.Also I had few months of experience in EJB 2.0.

You have to enter in certification manager, not in I7. There is another link in the same page you log in.

I want to thank you again not only for your notes, but also for the great job you have done in preparing the notes in the days before I took my test - December, 22.

I could see what you have done, in developing and publishing in some few days a lot of notes to help people like me.

You can check the old certmanager (http://www.certmanager.net/~sun_s), or you can wait a little bit for the physical report to arrive. I got my score report, including the section breakdowns, yesterday in the mail.

I noticed the new design. Much as I like how they keep trying to brand everything the same, I can't help but miss the style they were using in 2001, when I got my SCJP 1.2 - there was just something nice and clean about the certificate style then. Not sure personally if the all-blue look works for me on the new certificates.

And, to answer the comment about the mailings being separate - I know. I got my certificate on Friday and the score report on Monday, so. I was commenting more to the score report than the certificate packet.
