hi all,

i am trying to develop some test applications on EJB3. can someone lead me to some of the best articles to follow.

and also how do you generate the ejb-jar files in EJB3 using the tags used in code?

The best book on the market on subject at this moment in time is EJB 3.0 from O'Reilly (5th ed, IIRC).

Regarding "how to generate using tags" (hey, they are annotations, not "tags", btw), you can refer appendix of my SCBCD 5.0 study guide:

It explains how to configure and run EJB 3.0 application. All sources are included.
