I've seen that SUN have now made available the official SCBCD 5.0 exam.

Does anybody know of any good books that would prepare you for the exam? Also, is there a 'Head First' book for this exam in the pipeline?

Here are couple of books I know:

1. Mastering EJB 3.0
2. Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0 (by Bill Burke (Author), Richard Monson-Haefel (Author)) - search Amazon.com

These books are NOT SCBCD 5.0 focused but should be helpful. First one (mastering ejb 3.0) is downloadable for FREE in PDF format at:

http://www.theserverside.com/tt/books/wiley/masteringEJB3/index.tss

I am not sure if Head First team has plans to release EJB 3.0 versio of their book any time soon.

For SCBCD 5.0 exam preparation, you can download Mikalai's notes and EJB 3.0 Spec.

Hope this helps!

Regards
Saeed
