Hi guys,

I have been very much interest in learning EJB a long back. Due to the projects and other factors, I didn't get the opportunity to work on ejb. But still, I want to learn EJB... And I have bought the Head First EJB book 6 - 7 months back after very much impressed with Head First Java and Head First Servlets and JSP.

Now only I have the time to read ejb in HFEJB. But what is my concern is HFEJB is covering only EJB2.0.. And I know there are lot of new features included in EJB 3.0. What I thought is, first I have to get the basic understanding on concepts, rather than giving importance to versions. So I have started reading HFEJB and in three-four days going to complete the book. Whether it is good/worth to take EJB2.0(CX-310-090)?

I'm in the same situation as you are, and I've decided to learn 2.0 first, because there's still a lot of opportunities to work on existing 2.0 projects. Moreover, my company pays the exam fee if I pass I can't wait to learn about 3.0 though.
