Why do we need to serialize the home?
We serialize the home, if we want to work with the same home when the machine is rebooted or the application is moved to another machine.

My question is What benefit actually we gain by doing this serialisation? Rather Why dont we just create a new home by doing a JNDI lookup() ?

Thanks in Advance

JNDI lookup is more performance intensive then serialization.Even storing the reference of the home interface is better than serializing it.
