What happens if we don't end a transaction (neither commit nor rollback) before leaving a BMT SLSB method?

I know it is allowed in SFSB and the transaction lives across calls with the same client. But what is the behaviour w.r.t SLSB?

Will bean instance be discarded/ exception thrown (which one)/ no exception?
