Just finshed the first chapter of the HFEJB and couldnt answer one of the Mock exam questions right. Why is that? Ok, so I took the same approach I did with the K&B book but all the answers were from the EJB specs.
Should I read through the entire 572 page Specifications before I go any further?
Here I was so happy I got 1.3 installed (and living in sin with my 1.6 install) and the J2EE RI server running with my chapter 1 bean deployed.
What's the right approach here?

Don't worry with answering wrong on the Mock Exam of the second chapter. It is quite common. You should answer most of them correct from the next chapter if you study right.
