Has anyone else who's read this book take some issue with the way some of the Sharpen your pencils are laid out? I'm a little concerned about some of the questions preceding the answers in book. For example, I go through one of the exercises which is supposed to reinforce knowledge through "thinking" about the topic. I agree that helps but when I have to make a presumption about something (and the book says you will) only to find out I was wrong 3 pages later, I'm concerned i'm reinforcing the wrong thing.

Did anyone else have a little trouble with this? I'm actually considering no longer doing these exercises and simply relying on mock exams (after reading the book) as I did on my SCJP. The K&B SCJP book didn't have these preemptive questions and I'm wondering if they are doing more bad than good.

Anyone else have an opinion?
