I met this question in Chapter 5 in HFEJB, also in Spec page 119.

I wonder why we can't "call a method on the entity object's primary key".
This choice is given by the question in the book.

"Receive a reference as a parameter in a method call" is correct, as given in the spec. This is as vague as ever, because in my opinion, the "a method call" can be any method call. Ya, surely it is correct.

so why not "a method on the entity object's primary key"?
