Hi all,

Having recently passed SCWCD, I am now interested in SCBCD to compliment it.

Looking again at the Head First series (as HFSJ served me so well), I notice that it was released Nov 2003 amazon.

I'm guessing that this will mean that it will not be targeted at the new (CX-310-091) Edition 5 exam Sun Certification Link.

I have two questions:

1) (for the authors) Are you likely to be releasing a new version in the near future (or perhaps some sort of update document identifying the new concepts)? I'm guessing not looking at some of your other forum responses.

2) (for the forum) Considering the changes between 1.3 and 5, would people still start with this book, or are the changes so different that this book is no longer relevant?

Thanks in advance,

MG

1) (sorry I couldn't help answering) Bert said recently that there were no immediate project to update the book, so you were guessing right
2) The book is no longer relevant. Changes are huge.
