Im trying to run the examples of chapter 5.

Deployment is perfect: there are 1 stateless session bean and two statefull.

When I try to run the client of the example (a stand alone client), first I lookup for the stateless one (his remote interface of course) and everything goes perfectly, but when I try to lookup for one of statefull beans I keep getting this error:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Lorg/jboss/invocation/Invoker;
at java.lang.Class.getDeclaredFields0(Native Method)
at java.lang.Class.privateGetDeclaredFields(Class.java:2232)
...

ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

Do you have the necessary jar files from JBoss in your client's classpath? Also which version of Java and JBoss are you using?

You were right ... some libs from JBoss Client directory were missing in the classpath of my project. I do not know why eclipse did not add them by default, anyway problem solved.

Thanks for the hint.

It seems that you're missing the libraries found in JBOSS_HOME\lib.

You can double check that with the values in the build.xml of the examples to see which paths you missed out.
