I know javaranch.com recently changed
Why did they stick with that rather dull (ugly) colour scheme ? I often think it would be much nicer to come here if they used 'fresh' colours !

I like blue

its COLOR-scheme
It's "it's". Unless you were using the possessive, as in "its color scheme isn't so bad". But that doesn't seem to be what you meant.
Drat. The preceding paragraph would still be on-topic if Mike hadn't moved us out of MD.
All right then Dave - why didn't we change the colors? Well, mostly 'cause I think you're the first person to voice dissatisfaction with the current scheme. Probably if we changed it, there would be people posting "why'd you change it, anyway?" Or maybe not. It's be interesting to hear what others think of the color scheme.

It's too late to change our color of preference anyway. There are already three bartenders with "Brown" last name, and there are no idicators that the process will stop here...
Oops, somebody moved it out of MD Mike, you can move MD topic out of MD, but it wont change the topic's identity, it's still MD's topic.

Ouch! That sounds painful, Ravish. You are clearly Evil.

Objection. You overstate the case; I would gladly recruit bartenders with surnames such as "Beige" and "Tan" instead, but none have been available. (Peter T., could you please modify your display name a bit? Thanks.)

"You can take Map out of MD, but you can't take the MD out of Map," is that the point?
