Hello All,
I'm using OReilly's Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0 for SCBCD. I'm struck at running the timer service example for the 13th chapter.

As described in the workbook, I've successfully deployed the EJB JAR file. However, I can't run the client. I"m getting the following error:

Any help shall be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Reema

Hi Reema, I face same problem when my tomcat in start mode as well as I try to start JBOSS server.I think JBOSS and Tomcat uses same 8080 port. At a time only one application will work on 8080 port. I think you are trying to start tomcat as well as JBOSS. Close down all other java application and try to start only JBOSS server.I think your problem will solve by doing that.

Hi gajanan,
I've fixed the problem.

However, in the same chapters I can't run the client program. It gives me the following error:

Can somebody guide me on this.

In anticipation.
