Hi,

I'm so confused about my next certification, i really want to go for business components, and the thing which is confusing me is the unavailability of an exam guide specialized for EJB 3!

I have a basic small question, can somebody please list the main key difference between EJB 2 and EJB 3 ? I mean, will i be a looser if i get the EJB 2 certification ? Will that be a time waste if i study EJB 2 and then later on someday when an EJB 3 certification guide comes out and study it ? Will i waste time learning new things which are already eliminated from EJB 2 ?

Please i need your advices ranchers ...

Thanks in advance ...

Just the main changes :
  • Bean development has been lightened (less interface)
  • Use of annotations
  • Java Persistence API

No. There are still lots of running projects using them. I think it's still interesting to understand how the old beans were working.

I personally don't find it a waste of time. It depends on your needs. Why are you trying to get it ?
