Hi,

As a matter of fact, i don't prefer reading from many books, so, is the EJB 3 In Action book sufficient for passing the SCBCD 5.0 exam or not ?

If not, please i need the name of one and only one book which is sufficient for passing the SCBCD 5.0 exam ...

Thanks in advance ...

Yes, detailed. And yes, its audience includes beginners.

Half of it is a workbook which allows you to do handson.

It is so detailed that I recently completed an ejb3 project, which used ALL scenarios in 'domain relationships/multiplicity', and I found an example for each, in that book(running examples!).

Warning on persistence implementations out there, if you use this book, use the software it uses, i think jboss. I recently used Sun server and it is a pain, so much bugs in the entity multiplicity implementation on the embedded toplink database.

That book and all books I saw including the In Action book, are not designed for cert preparation. Therefore you may want to do additional reading, as I mentioned in http://www.coderanch.com/t/162887/java-EJB-SCBCD/certification/passed-scbcd
