I could finish the exam in 80 minutes, that leaves more than one hour I felt that the exam was easy and at the end I didn't feel like reviewing the marked questions I just ended the exam.

References: EJB3 by Oreilly, Pro EJB3 Java Persistence API and MZ Notes. All of them were very useful. You can actually do it just with Oreilly book and MZ Notes. I have not referred to ejb specs.

Mocks: I have just used sun's assessment and sun's ePractice and whiz labs free exam (both contains around 10 questions).

Thanks for the support from Java Ranch.

I am now looking forward to complete the assignment for Part II of SCEA 5 Beta.

A solid score!

Congratulations. It's a tough exam, and looks great on a CV.

Hi,
Great Score. Regarding the ePractice exam. In sun's website i am able to see only this one WGS-PREX-J091C related to SCBCD 5.0, which is around $55. Is this the same one you practised?

PS: please respond

Regards,
Ravi

Hi Ravi Kiran,
No. I was talking about this: http://www.sun.com/training/certification/resources/epractice.html

There are free mock exams for each sun certification that contains about 10 questions. You have to login to order these free exams.

Or directly go to this link and press "Add to Shopping Cart" button.

Congratulations Nagendra.

Let me ask you something: by "EJB3 by OReilly" do you mean "Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, Fifth Edition" (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/entjbeans5/)?

I'm looking for a book I can use for preparing for the SCBCD5 exam.

Thanks and congratulations once again.

Renato,
That's correct. The book is also listed in the SCBCD Links.

You can get them here. These are actually not notes, this is a study guide.

That's correct. It is the fifth edition.

Hi,

I have been going through Mastering EJB. Is that book good enough for passing the exam.

I cannot actually comment on the latest Mastering EJB book as I have not read it. However I read the old version of Mastering EJB (based on EJB 2.1) and I liked it.
