HI,

I Have 4 months in that i need to know EJB3.0 (SCBCD) & Hibernate both. What I am thinking is to go for EJB 3.0 First get Certified and then learn Hibernate ( as i heard Hibernate follows JPA Spec which is part of EJB 3.0).
What you guys think is this proper aproach to learn both techs or should i go other way around ?

Please give your valuable suggestions...Thanks

Either way of learning Java ORM persistence will work for you. But I'd rather suggest you to go for EJB 3.0 (SCBCD 5 certification) as apart from only JPA, you will master complete EJB. With this direction, you are more advantageous as you already know JPA and with the JPA knowledge, you just need 2 days to master Hibernate.

I seriously doubt that one can learn all the details of 2nd level cache as well as the criteria API and other details of Hibernate (that are not part of JPA) in 2 days...
