Will there be a Head First book(by Sierra and Bates) for SCBCD 5.0?

If yes, could I place an order now.

As i have seen in a previous post made by Bert Bates they will not be doing a head first book on ejb 3. But he has said that maybe some one will pick up to do a head first book on ejb 3 in the time to come.

That's so sad... The only book that I purchase for Java certifications is Sierra and Bates author. The reason is that it is easy to understand and it will really stick to your head. Anyways, I'll still wait if they will change their mind and create HF EJB 3.0

Hello Friends,

We do have Head First EJB here.

But the books that are suggested by JavaRanch on SCBCD 5.0 links do not have HFEJB in their list. Why is it so?

And one more thing, is there any book that covers all the SCBCD objectives (like HFSJ for SCWCD )or we have to refer 2-3 books for that?

Thanks,

Vishal Pandya

That's an outdated version for SCBCD 5, that's why it's not listed. And original authors don't plan to update it is what the other person said.

Hey Tony,
Thanks for updating me.

Friends, Do we have any single book that covers all the SCBCD 5.0 objectives? Or we have to refer more than one book for it?

Regards,

Vishal Pandya
