Is EJB 3 In Action an actual SCBCD 5 exam study kit?

I'd like to prepare for SCBCD 5 (CX 310-091) and so far I have had a good experience using books by Manning. I do not like the O'Reilly books with all the pictures and fun stuff when preparing for an exam.
For the SCWCD exam I used Manning's SCWCD Study Kit by Deshmukh e.a., and for SCBCD 310-090 I used the SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera (the latter exam I would still have to pass if it weren't for the fact that it will cease to exist by the end of April, and I still would have to cram about 10 chapters).

So now I would like to focus on 310-091 instead using a Manning book, but I am not sure if the 'new' book, EJB 3 In Action by Debu Panda e.a. is the way to go when looking for a study kit.
By Study Kit I mean books that actually explain stuff like where/how many create methods with a number of arguments are allowed or not allowed, what Exception to declare where etc. and other little do's and donts.
Doesn't the EJB 3 in Action book just explains the new EJB 3 features?
Although I noticed in this forum some people have actually passed the exam using this particular book.

Anyone?

im actually preparing for it using the oreilly's book. This does not at all have funny pictures or anything. Its very professional and is right to the point explaining most of the details you require.

Hi Kjeld! I agree with Dinuka. You're probably referring to O'Reilly's Head First Series. Not all O'Reilly books are made that way.

Like Dinuka, I also used the O'Reilly EJB 3 book for BCD 5 preparations. For those new to EJB/EJB 3 they said that they liked EJB 3 In Action better. But neither of the mentioned books are actual "study kits". Meaning they were not written for the BCD 5 exam. Still a lot of the objectives (but definitely not all) have been addressed by the said books.

You might want to visit this Amazon aStore for other recommended BCD 5 books.

If I were you, I'd read both books. I am reading the in action book right now, it's pretty good. Oreilly book has good rating at amazon too. I'd get both.

Even I agree with this. But in additiona for the chapters on Entities, I'd recommend Pro EJB3 from Apress.

Thanks guys.
Reading some of the other topics I noticed that all three books mentioned here (Pro EJB3, EJB3 in Action, O'Reilly EJB3) are recommended because together they cover EJB3 in an in-depth fashion.
Well based on the above, and having medium-level experience with EJB programming, I think I'll first finish Manning's SCBCD book (Study Kit for the previous exam which I have read about half way) just to get the basics for Entity B's, MDB's etc which I am still missing, and then start with EJB3 in Action and then we'll see.
I read somewhere somebody passed with a 90%+ score just by using EJB3 in Action.
Still I'd like to know if an up-to-date Study Kit is in the making?
