use of ejb-local-ref in web.xml

Hi Everyone,

i have tried the example shipped with j2ee ri samples : customerapp.
Here in jsps, i have seen that jndi name is used as
java:comp/env/CustomerBeanRef. I was not able to find this value in vendor specific file. The jndi name is somthig else there (CMPCustomerApp/Customer). I have checked the CustomerBeanRef value in ejb-local-ref/ejb-ref-name tag in web.xml for the web part.

Could some one please elaborate more on this.

Also if i need to connect with mysql database using deploytool, which setting i need to change from cloudscape to mysql.
