Guys,

For an entity bean ejbActivate and ejbPassivate are completely different from its Session bean counterpart. My question is calling these two methods on an EntityBean mean doing something similiar to what we do for Stateful session bean? or is this just called following a transaction and that the EJBObject dies and the bean is returned to the pool to service new clients?

Clarification needed!

hey Jothi,

may I ask why are you studying ejb 2.1 for this exam?

I think tht entity bean stuff is now totally changed and exams tests us on the new stuff.

Hey, I'm not studying for the sake of the exam but for the purpose of my project.
