Hi All,
With Toplink, I am able to persist a final class. Is this correct, or is it a deviation?

Entity classes must not be final.

If you want your application to be portable, follow the rules described in the spec.

Hi All,
Thanks for answers. Can anyone suggest me jpa provider which has the 100% spec implementation for trying out tests?
Anyway, I will test with Spec in theory.

I dont think you will be able to find anything like that.
Even reference implementations usually have a few off-specs

Does anyone know / use any other JPA implementation than Hibernate or TopLink?

There's Apache's OpenJPA. I've never used it, though.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
