Doubt in Basic EJB

Hi All,

in all the books there are creating a jar file for Stateless bean.

my question is:whether we need to create as many jar for each bean or single jar for all the bean.

please provide me detailed answer, if you can

It depends on your requirement. If you think all your components to be placed(deploy) on only one physical server, then you can create a single JAR and deploy.

assume you have two EJB components which does different functionalities and to be deployed in two different servers, then you need to create two JAR files and deploy them separately.

Hi Garla Ravi,

i understood that one.

Assume, that we have Advice, Info, Details and Transaction Components.
i need to deploy this in one machine, then is that only jar required or different for each component.

please let me know.

You can create a single JAR file for all of the EJBS.

Or, you can create a single JAR file for each EJB.

This is a design decision.
