Hi there,

Please make the title of your posts a little clearer, EJB 3.0 as a title could mean anything! .

In short, no there is no Head First EJB 3.0, I'd recommend Oreilly Enterprise Javabeans 3.0 instead.

Hi Deepak,

As Martijn said, there isn't Head First EJB 3 book. If you're going to take SCBCD 5 certification, you should read many different books/pdfs. Among them I adivce:
- O'Reilly Enterprise Javabeans 3.0 (To learn how EJB 3 does work)
- Apress Pro EJB 3 Java Persistence API (focused on JPA)
- The EJB 3 Specification itself (it's a free PDF)
- And finally, and most important in my opinion, MZ's Study Guide: http://java.boot.by/scbcd5-guide/

There are no Head First EJB3 books yet. There are alot of titles coming out for Head First in the next little while. We may have to wait a bit.

The specs on EJB3 are actually pretty good, especially the Simplified API. You should definitely download that. It is very much worth every penny!
