As i am practicing the Chapter 3 code for the EJB, i am encountering in understaning this part:
<target name="run"
depends="init">
<echo message="Executing client class using ${J2EE_HOME}/bin/${APPCLIENT} "></echo>
<exec executable="${J2EE_HOME}/bin/${APPCLIENT}">
<arg line="-client lib/chapter3-client.jar"/>
</exec>
</target>

I am not able to make out what does APPCLIENT value is or from where it comes out?

<exec executable="${J2EE_HOME}/bin/${APPCLIENT}">

I dont know Ant Script but the path for executable is for this file in your Glassfish installation directory appclient.bat

Thanks

Hi Amandeep

the APPCLIENT is the appclication client container executable - that's depends on your application server and on your platform, e.g. for linux the
APPCLIENT is appclient. Take a look in your application server bin dir.
