Just wondering if the WCD exam is recognised as part of the
jCert initiative, does anyone have any information ?
thanks,
Dave

From the jCert page I would say that it is not currently part of jCert.
Level 1 is CJP
Level 2 is an IDE qualification (JDeveloper, VisualAge etc)
Level 3 is an App Server qualification.
2 and 3 also require other tests, UML, and J2EE something respectively -- I guess that 3a, the J2EE part may be comparable, but I dont think it is currently accepted.

Hi James,
yeah, that'd be my understanding too, although
as WCD refers to a Developer, & theres Design Patterns
etc. on it I'd imagine (hope) Sun is trying to get it included
as an alternative to the SJD exam.
cheers,
Dave
