Hi!
for SCWCD, i have installed j2sdkee1.2.1 on my machine(OS is Win95). I have jdk1.2.2 also. Is it okay for the exam preparation??
the j2ee bundle resides in directory c:\j2sdkee1.2.1
The c:\j2sdkee1.2.1 has following folders:-
bin, cloudscape, config, doc, help, images, lib, logs, nativelib, public_html, repository.
The server is run as per c:\j2sdkee1.2.1\bin\j2ee.bat
for html files, i put it in public_html folder and give the following URL in browser---http://127.0.0.1:8000/file.html. It works fine.
But for servlets, where should i put the class file?? And for jsp, where should i put the jsp file?? Please also tell what changes should be made regarding environmental variables
I tried my best with the help given within the package but couldn't get it working. So please explain how to sort-out these problems
Thanks a lot.
ashok.

If you are going to prepare for SCWCD exam I strongly recommend you get Tomcat 4.0. The j2sdkee1.2.1 is for Servlet 2.2 and JSP 1.1 where the exam covers Servlet 2.3 and JSP 1.2. I haven't personnally worked with j2sdkee1.2.1 so, I'm not positive of any configuration you would have to do for it.
