SCWCD Whiz

Hi Pradeep,
Well I was initially one of the few members of Javaranch to have purchased SCWCD@whiz, and would tell u that I was very happy to see the way questions are framed but dissapointed with interface..it could have been more user friendly....and to some extent the questions are much simpler...probably I feel the exam also...as been told by many people....
My Question to Mr.Pradeep is (as whiz labs is into selling softwares on java) is where would this exam take us...even though we clear it...does it add anything to my status or does it prove that I am an expert in Servlets or JSP....
If everyone finds the exam so simple then whats the point in giving it..??

Hi,
Speaking of SCWCD Whiz, I was taking the SCWCDWhizTrial and found something interesting.
There is a Quiz with a set of 26 questions. The questions are pretty good, but I am wondering why each question is given a fixed amount of time (1 minute) ? Because one needs to wait for the timer to expire when an easy question is encountered, but run out of time for difficult ones.

Thank you for your kind appreciation of our product. We intentionally kept the difficulty level of the questions close to the actual exam. Whenever there will be a change in the pattern by SUN, the same will be reflected in our product. That�s our promise!!!

I would request you to download the latest version from our website (launched yesterday). Our product has undergone lot many changes and it still has a long way to go. You are true, that unlike SCJP, SCWCD exam is comparatively easier. Simpler than SCJP doesn�t mean anyone can clear it, without putting the required efforts. Clearing the exam not only adds a new line to your resume, but also gives you the confidence to believe in yourself. To add to this, my experience says that Certification Process by itself is a great learning exercise, which adds a lot of value.
I believe that Java being strong on server side, any J2EE certification will have a rewarding and long lasting future. SCWCD is no exception to this. It will definitely add value to your present qualifications.

Dear Peter,
Thanks for your valuable feedback.
One thing you might not have noticed is that the time/question is not fixed; you can alter it. But there is one good thing we will do is to add the "Next" Button, which will be helpful if someone doesn't want to wait for the preset time.
