Hi
In the exams, are we suppose to analyse a scenario and suggest a pattern to resolve the problem or to choose a pattern name given its description or both ?
Thanks in advance.

Yes Both!
Don't forget, patterns do have "Related Patterns". MVC is a special case of the Front pattern.
