Passed the SCWCD today with 51/59. Thanks to this board and Ken Zobrok's notes. In addition, I used both specs (better than any sleeping pill), Jason Hunter's book (a must-read IMHO; take the time to read it before you do anything else if you're just starting out and have no web dev exeperience) and lot's of playing around with Tomcat. I was averaging about 75% on the JWeb exams, which, as everyone is saying, are harder than the real thing (perhaps because the questions aren't as well written).
A couple of things I noticed:
5 usebean questions!
A drag and drop question where you drag the answer over to the correct slot
About 5 type-in questions.
I memorized chunks of the web.xml (too much memorization in my opinion) and, in my case, the security contraint stuff came in very useful.
Good luck to you all,
BTW, I'm thinking of the IBM WebSphere certification; anybody have any experience with this?
Max

Congratulations, Max!
Did you have to answer any questions on filters? There seems to be this big confusion about filters. What about the questions on design patterns, were they tough?
Thanks in advance,
~s
