Hello all,
I have just now cleared the SCWCD exam.I scored in sixties only, the reason for low score was no pratical exp. with with custom tags and design patterns.Otherwise exam is easy. All the best those who are preparaing for exam.
And Thanks to all of you Java Ranchers for helping me.
Next i am thinking is IBM XML or UML...Any suggestion pls.
Thanks and Regards,
Jim,(old name username is zoe dude)

Hi James, congrats man! U have done ur job!!
I wanna know from which part most of the emphasis are given? Servlet, Jsp or mixing of Servlet & Jsp? And totally how much questions on design patterns?

thanks all of you again.
Hi Ashik,
See as such we have to give emphasis on all.But make sure that you do maximum practical example try(which i have not done and i have scored less). Be sure you know all in and out of JSP syntax.
Design patterns there were 4-5 questions.I don't remember exactly.
All the best.

Congrats James
Never mind about score. Regarding the next certification you should choose depending on your requirement, like if you want to move to analysis and design then you should definitely start preparing for UML.
If you want to diversify your technology expertise you should move to XML. Infact XML makes a good match with J2EE especially when you need to access data from legacy systems.
