Hi Ranchers,
Thank You all for your support....Specially, I would like to Thank
"Miftah Khan,Ken Zrobok,Michelle,Eduardo Cobian, Anand Chawla, Velumurugan and
Enthuware's JWebPlus people"
The exam was easy, but the situation in which I took the exam was horrible ...
I scheduled my test at 9:00 a.m EST but, I could not start the test until
11:45 EST and I had to change 2 testing centres in order to take this exam today....
I thought of cancelling the exam if I could not take it before 12:00 noon
The problem started because of my first testing centre's technical difficulties ....
I hope no one else will face this kind of situation ..!!!

Here are my experiences:
1) I had 1 year of commerical servlet/JSP experince
2) Took me 3 weeks(around 50 hours) to complete this exam ...
If anyone have any particular question, let me know ... I more than willing
to help U guys ...
My next step is to take SCJD2 ... I am planning to celebrate and
enjoy these Christmas and New Year holidays...Probably, I may
start preparing for SCJD2 from January'2002 ....what do you guys say ..?

Thanks again guys(ranchers)

Congratulations. I am just starting on this cert, but I jusdt completed the Developer Exam.
I found it to be very cool, and a lot of fun. You can take as much time as you need, and just like this forum, the Javaranch Developer Cert Forum is a lot of help.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays

Pavitra,
It's not really necessary to have servlet/JSP experience ..
But, it is always helpful ...
What I believe is, we are all writing certifications to gain knowledge/improve our skills ... we can better do that by
doing atleast some relevant samples/examples ...
Did I answer your question ?
Good luck ...

Krishna Varma Adluru
