Here's a good place to get Tomcat, etc.

I know that Tomcat is a good thing to have to test your JSP and Servlets that you might write to test things out.
I know you can get Tomcat directly, but have any of you tried JBoss.
JBoss is a FREE application server, and it can come with Tomcat.
Go to www.jboss.org
I think it is under Binaries, or executables link.
Starting JBoss with Tomcat is as easy as running runwithtomcat.bat
And you only need to put your Servlets and JSP, in one directory to have use of them. And EJB Entity or Session Beans in one directory to bind them and use them.
I don't have any connection to them, but I have used them in MY EJB I and II classes I took at UC Irvine, and the nicest thing is it's always FREE.

Mark,
How are those EJB classes at UCI? I've been looking around for EJB classes but I didn't realize UCI offered them. Would you recommend them?
I'm still waiting for those SCJD results, hopefully they'll come around right before christmas. Good luck on yours.

Yes I really liked the two EJB classes. Make sure you get Hatem as your teacher. He is funny and cool and knows his stuff. I had him for those classes and the Java II class.
The class is even better when your work pays for it.

I Know I have waited almost three weeks now. I wish they would hurry.
Good Luck
