I got MSc degree in CIS/CSlast June. Last Sept I came back to USA and started to look for job. I sent lots of CV, but I never got a phone screen. I have finished SCJP last April and SCWCD last Sept. Today I finished my last test in OCP 8i DBA (5 tests). I passed all certificates (totally 7 tests) with scores over 90%.
Where can we go now? Java is good technology, but no job for Java now. That's the reason why I escaped from Java architecture certificate and selected OCP in last 2 months. Is Unix administration certification good for me? Is MCSE or .NET the answer? Some guys said .NET (instead of Java) is the future. But I will not follow .Net now!
I know many smart guys have been in trouble right now. Please give suggestion about where we can go!
