Hi,
I can't see any reference in the specs about how an outer tag can access an inner tags properties.
Is that possible and how would it be done?
Thanks for your help .. sitting the exam on Friday...

I haven't seen any method that allows the outer tag to access the inner tag. I believe that you can let the inner tag to pass its properties to outer or you can write TLV classes to create xml doc and let your imagination run wild.
there is no such a method findChildClass(..).getProp() etc.

I didn't think there was any but I've been wrong before so I thought I'd fish in the JavaRanch BrainPool.
In fact I'd rather there wasn't any way to do it - that's one less thing to be asked in the exam. Once my exam is over Sun can implement the changes it sees fit
Thanks to all,
Bye,
Terry
