I have a couple of questions reagarding the HTTP GET and HEAD benefits...
1. Looking at K Zrobok notes, I am confused by some of the terminology used. Specifically with respect to HTTP GET, the term "data-producing" and "Request_URI". Can someone clarify these terms.
2. Next, what exactly are the benefits of the GET. As of HTTP1.1, the url length is no longer a problem. The only benefit I see is for bookmarking pages.
3. Similarly, with the HEAD. What are its benefits? How is it used to test hyperlinks? What are some other practical applications it could be used for?
